Although I did not feel comfortable, I confirmed the remaining information. He explained the system only kept partial info, such as my name & the last 4 of my card #, which he provided. I told them they should have everything they need with the card on file. He offered me a discount but needed to verify my card information. I expressed safety concerns, traveling as a single female.
At 3 am, I received a phone call on the hotel phone (supposedly from the GM at the front desk) stating they were experiencing system issues & the computer was showing my room as vacant, meaning someone could possibly enter the room. After checking in, I was told the water would be cut off at 8 am for repairs.
